Access to Kawashima Textile School (KTS)

From Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Take the MK skygate shuttle. Costs 3500 yen per person, including one large piece of luggage. Additional large luggage costs 1000 yen per piece. The shuttle bus will take you to the entrance gate of KTS in 90 min. – 150 min.

Reservations are required by 5pm Japan standard time, two days before your departure.

You can also request KTS to make a reservation for you by informing your full name and flight information. Your request should be made at least 5 days before your arrival.

From Kyoto Station (JR & Kyoto City Subway)

Take the Kyoto City Subway to Kokusaikaikan Station (20min. 280yen), then take a taxi to KTS (10min. approximately 1500-2000yen). *recommended
Take the Kyoto City Subway to Kitaoji Station (14min. 250yen), then take a taxi to KTS (20min. approximately 2000-2500yen).

Bus services are available from Kokusaikaikan Station and Kitaoji Station to Ichihara Bus Stop (the nearest bus stop to KTS). However, it is recommended to take a taxi if you are not familiar with this area.

From Demachiyanagi Station (Keihan Railway & Eizan Railway)

Take the Eizan Railway to Ichihara Station (20min. 370yen). Please take a train from platform 1 or 2. It is an 8 minute walk from Ichihara Station to KTS (see the map).
